Three speakers from Lux Debate & Speech Club participated in the Central Valley Autumn Oratory, in Fresno, hosted by the kind people of the Fortitude Club.  We always have a great time in Fresno.  And if you haven't yet had the delight of tasing Mrs. Vehrs' homemade turkey soup - oh man, you're missing out on a real treat!

Katherine Ballard, Eliyah Ballard and Jedidiah Ballard competed in various speech events at the Autumn Oratory.  Ellie Ballard made it to the finals in Apologetics and earned a "check mark."  Jedidiah Ballard - in his debut speech performance (proud daddy alert!) - made it to the semi-finals in Original Oratory and also earned a check mark!
