Lux Debate Club had two Team Policy Debate teams invited to the NCFCA National Championship in June 2023: Joanna Stanford & Jedidiah Ballard; and Katherine Ballard & Ellie Ballard.  Katherine, Ellie and Jedidiah qualified for the National Championship Tournament in Apologetics; and Ellie qualified in Open Interpretation.

Both of our Team Policy Debate teams almost advanced but didn't quite make it.  While we're disappointed they didn't advance, we recognize it's an honor to be invited to the National Championship tournament, and we all had a great time.

Ellie Ballard advanced in Apologetics and finished with a ranking of 21st at the National Championship tournament.

The NCFCA National Championship tournament is a great event and a wonderful experience.
